1950's Inspired GMC Grill Badge for a 1978 square body.

A customer came to us with a simple yet open-ended request: create a GMC badge inspired by the 1950s style. With just that as a starting point, I researched several classic 1950s designs and developed this unique concept.

The badge was precision-crafted from 6010 aluminum using a CNC machine, then meticulously hand-polished for a sleek finish. To complete the look, I added vibrant coloring to give it that authentic vintage appeal. It features post mounts and custom-designed brackets, ensuring a perfect fit on the factory grille.

This project showcases how a simple idea can be transformed into a fully custom, functional, and eye-catching piece.
