The Oldsmobile 425 engine was a short-lived but exceptional motor, and it’s the one I chose to put into my 1973 Cutlass nearly 20 years ago. Ever since, I’ve wanted a set of badges for it. Unfortunately, Oldsmobile only ever produced a 425 badge for one car—the 1967 Delmont 88.
This summer, I finally spotted one of these rare badges at a local car show. I snapped a picture and, with help from the amazing folks in the Oldsmobile Club of America Facebook group, I was able to get the exact height and width dimensions.
These badges are handcrafted out of solid 6061 billet aluminum right here in Mid-Michigan. They’re not mass-produced; each badge is meticulously crafted with the care and attention your Oldsmobile deserves.
I was so thrilled with how the 425 badge turned out that I decided to create a 455 version with the same dimensions. While Oldsmobile never officially made a 455 badge, if they had, this is exactly how it would have looked.
Bring a touch of authenticity and craftsmanship to your Oldsmobile with these custom-made badges—because your car deserves nothing less.
Our Oldsmobile motor badges are made to order and take several days to produce. They typically will ship within a week of placing your order.
